aSENSE Duct是一款安装在通风管道中的免维护红外二氧化碳传感器。该装置配有工业外壳（防护等级IP65），带有管道探头。该产品旨在通过将测量的二氧化碳和温度值传输到系统的主设备（Master） 或DDC来控制通风。该变送器设计灵活，适用于多种不同的通风策略。

根据大多数建筑法的规定，在人员长期停留的房间内，新鲜空气流量至少应为7升/秒，如果房间里的人是工作负荷较轻的成年人，当室外的CO₂浓度为350 ppm，那么这种空气流直接对应室内的CO₂浓度为1040 ppm。

根据国家职业安全和健康委员会（the National Boards of Occupational Safety and Health）的规定，CO₂浓度可以作为室内空气质量（IAQ）的指标，并始终把CO₂浓度低于1000ppm作为目标。
